L'Université Numérique, the French national digital university, federates French higher education institutions producing and sharing Open Educational Resources (OER) in Humanities & Foreign languages, Management and Economics, Science and Technology, Medicine as well as Sustainable Development.
L'Université Numérique currently supports a wealth of over 30,000 OER in French that have been validated by scientific committees and is currently sharing these resources with francophone universities, especially in Africa, where it partners with UNESCO and ICDE.
L'Université Numérique has been given the mandate by the Ministry for Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI), to represent French Higher Education in international organizations and initiatives dealing with Open Education.
