The Open Education Global congratulates Willem van Valkenburg as one of the recipients of the 2020 SURF Education Awards for his contribution to education innovation. This is an annual award recognizing individuals involved in education committed to raising education to a higher level through innovation.
Willem was presented this award along with four others during the SURF Education Awards ceremony.
As President of the OE Global Board of Directors and Executive Director of the TU Delft Extension School, Willem works tirelessly to elevate open and online education. He has participated with OE Global since 2008 and as a board member since 2013.
