We are excited to hear many positive reactions to the new planting a seed of recognition design for the 2025 Open Education Awards for Excellence. Already we have seen 22 seeds in nominations representing people and projects from the Bahamas, Canada, Colombia, Egypt, France, India, Ireland, Lithuania, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United States, and Viet Nam.
You have plenty of time to who and what you might nominate for a 2025 OEAward– the process is open through July 21. See the nomination guide for everything you might need to enter one yourself.
Whether you have submitted a nomination in the past or if this is your first year, you might appreciate a guided tour of the process, especially as we have made many improvements to the nomination form.
We caught OEGlobal Director of Community Engagement Alan Levine out in his garden where he starts a tour that includes a walk through of the awards web site and the nomination form.
If you are seeking inspiration, we suggest you take your own tour of the previous 254 OE Awardees— and if you were involved in any of these projects or won an individual word, please share any updates we can add to your award page by contacting us via awards@oeglobal.org.
It’s planting season now through July 21!
