From October 14 to 17, the OEGlobal Tour embarked on an innovative adventure – a multi-stop expedition through the vibrant world of Open Education. The guided OEGlobal Tour was crafted as a comprehensive 4-day exploration, immersing participants in the unique open education landscapes of various regions.
Each day, live online Scenic View sessions offered a thrilling voyage through educational landmarks, introduced regional activators, showcased local cultural flavors, and uncovered hidden treasures in the realm of Open Education. Our daily itinerary was thoughtfully organized by region, led by knowledgeable guides from each geographical zone. Participants traversed local-topic discussions and enlightening project snapshots, creating a memorable journey infused with heartwarming experiences. We’re grateful to everyone who contributed and shared their insights along the way.
The grand finale of the OEGlobal Tour took place on October 7, when the global community gathered for a live session to recap our expedition and announce the deserving winners of the 2025 Open Education Awards for Excellence (OEAwards).
Throughout the tour, over 60 speakers graced our virtual stages across the five regional sessions, captivating an audience of 389 live viewers. Our sessions, made available on YouTube, have since garnered 1,020 views and remain accessible for those who wish to embark on this journey.
