As part of the efforts of the 2025 Open Education Awards for Excellence to ensure all nominees are recognized, we have sent notifications by email to all contacts listed in the nomination.
Also included in these messages is a means to accept a digital badge and download a digital certificate for being a 2025 OEAward nominee.
All 1993 nominated people, projects, and resources are now listed in a table on the awards web site, each linked to a document with the full details that were entered for their nomination. If you see your name or a project you are associated with on this list and you have not been notified, please let us know (awards@oeglobal.org). We can also issue additional badges as needed to your colleagues.

At this time, our 2025 Awards Committee is finalizing their reviews of nominations, leading to an upcoming announcement on September 30 our our Shortlist of finalists (see for example the 2024 shortlist).
Make plans now to tune in October 17 (time to be announced soon) for our live webcast announcement of this year’s Open Education Awards for Excellence. This celebration will be the closing event for the OEGlobal Tour 2025: Snapshots of Open Education. All nominees will be contacted soon with an invitation to be part of this global event.
