As we count down the weeks and then the days, there is still so much to share about the OEGlobal 2026 conference.
Keynotes confirmed
OEGlobal26 is delighted to announce four keynote sessions for the conference. Together, the 12 distinguished speakers comprise a poet, a group of students, and leaders from open science, open publishing, open policy, and open education in the same conversation. The keynotes will be live-streamed, and we hope that, wherever you live, you will want to watch them.

Join online — registration open until October 9
The response to OEGlobal26 has been tremendous, and as a result, in-person registration is now full. Although in-person registration is closed, online registration will remain open until the conference days (tickets are $195). All registered online participants will have access to every session presented at OEGlobal26, including the in-person and hybrid sessions, asynchronous content, and fun activities. Satellite Events: Join Locally
If you can’t make it to Cambridge and want to make your online participation a shared experience, then we invite you to organize a Satellite Event. Requested by the community, OEGlobal26 Satellite Events are community-led gatherings (e.g., local meetups, keynote watch parties, multilingual discussion circles, etc.) that bring the OEGlobal26 conference experience to your context and community. We know that Cambridge accommodation can stretch a budget, so we’ve created the opt-in community space “Lodging Conversations” on OEGlobal Connect for anyone looking to share travel costs or find local accommodation within the OEGlobal network. Accessibility
We want every OEGlobal26 attendee to feel fully comfortable and included. If you are attending in person and are concerned about accessibility, please review the Venue page on the website. If you have questions about accessibility at the venue, transport options, or local resources, we’ve set up a dedicated space, “Accessibility Connections”, on OEGlobal Connect where you can ask questions, raise concerns, or share advice.
