We are pleased to be able to let you know that the OEGlobal 2022 In-person Congress in Nantes, France, is confirmed (May 23-25, 2022)!
This decision has been taken after extensive discussions with the relevant authorities and takes into account the improving status of the pandemic.
In France, issues with the pandemic are improving dramatically. This means that most restrictions are being lifted. In particular, anyone who is fully vaccinated can enter France, while face masks will no longer be compulsory in indoor spaces (other than on public transport, in medical establishments, and in care homes).
These changes mean that attendance and participation in the OEGlobal 2022 In-person Congress will be much as it was for all in-person events before the pandemic!
Traveling to France
The customary rules apply concerning visas, depending on the country from which you are traveling. Details can be found on this official website.
In addition, to be allowed into France:
- You MUST have proof that you are fully vaccinated or present a recent negative covid test;
- If you are coming from another Schengen state or a country on the green list, you MUST also have completed this EU Digital Passenger Locator Form;
- If you are coming from a country on the orange list, you MUST also have a completed Eos electronic form.
However, there is no longer any need for testing or quarantine. Planes and trains are now arriving in France as before the pandemic!

Once in France
Once in France, traveling is as before the pandemic. You can buy your plane, train, or bus ticket in advance online or at the station/airport.
Face masks continue to be compulsory on planes, trains, and other public transport.
Finally, at the OEGlobal 2022 In-person Congress venue, the Cité des Congrès, it is likely that you won’t have to wear a face mask (although you can if you wish to). We will confirm this as soon as possible.
