In a special session at the OEGlobal 2024 conference in Brisbane, Open Education Global honored winners and project representatives of OE Awards that were attending the conference.
Executive Co-Directors Marcela Morales and Igor Lesko congratulated all award representatives each of whom was giving a printed version of their award certificate. The audience heard remarks from:

- 2024 Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Award, Doing the Work: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Open Educational Resources and Equity-minded Open Course Design represented by Heather Blicher
- 2024 Open With Artificial Intelligence Award, AI and Open Education for All and .2024 Open Research Award Call For Science, both represented by Maria Soledad Ramirez Montoya
