In light of the federal holiday in the US and just in the interest of collecting more nominations for the Open Education Awards for Excellence, we are extending the deadline for nominations to submitted from June 19 to June 22, the very end of day wherever you are.
We hope this provides a bit more time to plant a seeds of recognition, maybe even slip in one more if you have already done so.

We are currently on the same pace for 2025 with currently over 70 nominations entered, including 55 for Individual Awards, 22 for Open Assets Awards, and 15 for Open Practices Awards.
Do you need some inspiration? Try the Category Explorer to examine previous awards in the three main categories. Listen to previous awardees share their stories on impact or hear more in depth from the OEGlobal Voices podcast episodes with award winners.
And speaking of impact, imagine the effect of some one being notified that they are nominated by you for an award this year, a new feature introduced to the 2026 Awards nomination form.
Are you ready to plant your seed? Go directly to the nomination form or for more information, refer to the OEAwards nomination guide.
And now you have more time on the clock to make a nomination happen.
