Join Us for the OEGlobal Tour: Snapshots of Open Education from around the world

Open Education is shaped not only by its successes but also by the challenges and uncertainties we navigate together. This October, Open Education Global invites you to embark on the OEGlobal Tour, a three-day online journey showcasing snapshots of Open Education worldwide. The tour will connect practitioners across regions, invite reflection on shared experiences, and highlight the diverse impact of the work that advances Open Education globally. What you’ll encounter during the OEGlobal Tour are just glimpses, a handful of stories from the much larger landscape of Open Education efforts unfolding around the world.
From 14 to 16 October 2025, the OEGlobal Tour will bring together educators, students, researchers, innovators, policymakers, and advocates from across all geographical regions to:
- Share regional Open Education initiatives from OEGlobal members and partners,
- Recognize the 2025 Open Education Awards for Excellence nominees,
- Foster global conversations through interactive discussions.
What to Expect of the OEGlobal Tour
Each day features 60-90-minute blocks of live, online sessions, thoughtfully curated by OEGlobal Members to reflect both global recognition and regional depth:

- Three sessions dedicated to regional showcases featuring:
- Selected nominees for the 2025 Open Education Awards for Excellence
- OEGlobal member and partner projects
- Collaborative initiatives and innovations grounded in Open Education.
Regional Focuses:
- 14 October: Middle East, Asia, & Oceania
- 15 October: Africa & Europe
- 16 October: Latin America & North America
- 17 October: 2025 Awards Ceremony for Open Education Awards for Excellence
Each session will be complemented by discussion spaces on OEGlobal Connect, where participants can continue conversations with presenters, exchange ideas, and connect with peers worldwide.
